MapBiomas Alerta is a system for validation and refining deforestation alerts using high-resolution imagery.
In a single platform, we gather alerts from various detection systems for all regions of Bolivia, cross-reference them with relevant territorial data, and provide ready and detailed deforestation reports for each forest loss event, openly and free of charge.
The MapBiomas Alerta Bolivia initiative publishes any loss of forest formation, without passing judgment on the legality, regularity, or responsibility regarding the vegetation clearance.
Here you will find new validated forest loss alerts on a biweekly basis for all regions of Bolivia, with various temporal and territorial search filter options.
By selecting an alert, you can view high-resolution before-and-after images of the forest loss.
Access the deforested area report, where you will find data such as the alert code, the lost area, the detection source, the pressure vector, and intersections with various public layers, among others.
